Research & Academic Partnerships

Prosperity Prize is a new savings program designed to help low-income workers build emergency savings and long-term financial security through matching contributions. We believe that even small amounts of savings can make a meaningful difference in a person's financial well-being, particularly when people receive an incentive to save. We're interested in partnering with academics who share our interest in financial inclusion, behavioral economics, household finance, and poverty alleviation.

We welcome opportunities to collaborate on research evaluating the program's impact on participants' savings behavior, financial resilience, and financial well-being. We hope to work with researchers to design rigorous evaluations, generate evidence about what works, and share findings that can inform future programs and policies. If you're a professor, researcher, or university interested in exploring a partnership, we'd love to hear from you.
